A Classic!

The FE is one of the staple cameras that every ohotographer should have in their collection. With it´s 50mm f/1.4 lens it takes super sharp pictures and the controls are super flexible, allowing to shot automatic as well as manual (M90).

This one I have shot in manual mode (M90) only recently since I do not have the batteries. I hate to leat this baby go, but I need the money :/

The camera is really in good shape for its age (1978) and fairly clean, lens is almost mint, a good professional cleaning is up to the new owner, but it takes good pics as is.

Specs:

Type

Manual-focus 35mm film SLR. Electronic shutter with two mechanical backup speeds, mechanical advance lever. Manual (crank) rewind.

Colors

Chromed brass and black. This one is the chrome if course.


Film Advance

Thumb lever, or MD-11 or MD-12 motor drives.


Meter

12mm heavily center-weighted TTL meter.

Shutter

Specified for 8 seconds ~ 1/1,000 in manual and auto modes.

Exposure

Aperture-priority auto and match-needle manual exposure. AE Lock if you press and hold the self-timer lever towards the lens.

Power

Two S76 or A76 cells, or one 3V 2L44 lithium.

It runs for years on a pair.
